I am looking how to create (or convert a users mailbox) a shared mailbox?
currently I can only create a user, distribution or resource? But how can I create a shared mailbox?
I know I can just create a user mailbox and then give users rights. but in case of a shared mailbox, this will not costs a CAL
?
right ?

Creating shared mailboxes are located under Exchange -> Resource Mailboxes. If you want to convert a user’s mailbox then you need to select the user on the user’s page and click Modify at the top and choose “Convert to Shared Mailbox”
