We installed the CU12 on our Exchange 2013 Cluster last night. ?
Now we are unable to add mailboxes to the environment. ?We receive “Connecting to remote server owa.####.net failed with the following error message : WS-Management cannot process the request. The operation failed because of an HTTP error. The HTTP error (12152) is: The server returned an invalid or unrecognized response . For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic.” dialog.
I verified that basic authentication is enabled on the powershell virtual directories for both of the CAS server roles (See attached image)
Any advise?

You are NOT supposed to make changes to IIS in Exchange because it will reset it. You need to enable basic authentication within EAC on the powershell virtual directory

I made the change to the powershell virtual directory in ECP and the issue persists. ?Any other advise?
Make sure you enable basic authentication with EAC and not IIS. Also CloudPanel contacts the https://<url in cloudpanel settings for exchange>/powershell to login. You should be prompted with a login and if you type in the username/password (if browsing with IE) it should present you a blank page or a page with a invalid request (this is fine when browsing with a browser).
Please let me know once you test those.

I went back into the ECP, disabled BASIC AUTHENTICATION, then re-enabled it on both of my CAS servers.
?
All fixed. ?Issue resolved.
