Can´t Import Shared Mailboxes
Hello, we are having problems importing shared mailboxes into the cloud panel.
It does not work with the variables from the cloud panel. We tried several variants.
Is there an example file of what the import of the resource mailboxes should look like?
Our file looks something like this:
Type DisplayName Email Plan Hidden
SHARED Bestellung – xxxxx GmbH bestellung@xxxxxx.de 2 FALSE
Shared Info – xxxxx GmbH info@xxxxxx.de 1 FALSE
We save it as a UTF8 CSV file.
V3.2.330.0
The plan should be the name of the mailbox plan. What errors are you getting when you try to import this? Also you need to make sure your CSV is using commas for the delimiter.
We also had to name the mailbox plan like that when importing the user mailboxes.
But I have attached both variants with errors as screenshots.

@jens-mohr I didn’t hear back from my response above but we did find an issue with it looking for the column name ResourceType instead of just Type. You can try that or upgrade to the next release that isn’t published yet: https://compsysar.sharefile.com/d-sc281d978d3b140b297497cf88a9562f4
@jdixon Sorry for not replying. I tried typing “ResourceType” instead of “Type”. Same problem. “ResourceType was not provided”.
When is the release of the new Version? We dont want to test ist without beeing sure to be save.
@jens-mohr A couple people have been running the new CloudPanel release without letting us know of any issues. We have also been running it for a week and haven’t had our help desk or noticed any bugs yet. You can always revert CloudPanel if you need to as long as you backup the CloudPanel folder and backup the SQL database (which I can assist with). There were quite a few changes and I haven’t written the document on what those changes were yet.
For internal reasons we cannot update to the new version anytime soon. Today I tried again to make the import possible in various ways. It just won’t work. With user mailboxes, contacts and distribution groups, everything works without a problem. only the resource mailboxes unfortunately not.
Are there no other possible solutions here?
@jens-mohr You could create them on the backend and then import them from Active Directory into CloudPanel using this article: https://kb.knowmoreit.com/docs/migration/migrate-objects-to-cloudpanel/. You would need to make sure you set the CustomAttribute1 value to their company code and also set it to all the address policies correctly.
