Hi

I have cloudpanel working fine on a server 2016 exchange 2016 environment. I have several domains setup in several companies. I have also setup the autodiscover re-direct.

Each user can login to outlook or owa using user@domain.com no problem, the issue comes when adding a mobile device. I can add a mobile device to the primary domain without issue. The problem comes when adding a user in another company on another domain. so user@domain.com is added and working, how do i add user@somethingelse.com when the name is the same for both ie user in this example?

If i try to add user@somethingelse.com to android or iphone it does not auto detect and im not sure what the primary domain email equivalent settings should be?

Thanks in advance

If a user mailbox has multiple aliases, you always configure the mobile devices for the primary email address (not the aliases). Email aliases are just email addresses that a user can ALSO receive email on for that mailbox. Aliases are not used for sending email.

Is that what you are trying to do?

Ok i may be using the wrong terminology when i say primary email. I am using the users actual email address as opposed to an email alias.

user@domain1.com has an autodiscover record for autodiscover.domain1.com and works fully, outlook, owa at mail.domain1.com and mobile device.

user@domain2.com redirects to autodiscover.domain1.com but can login too owa at mail.domain1.com as user@domain2.com no problem, has a seperate mailbox from user@domain1 and is also able to setup outlook just by entering user@domain2.com and password. However user@domain2.com cannot get email on a mobile device.

what should i be setting the user , server and domain settings on the mobile device to be for user@domain2.com?

Hope that makes sense

You don’t configure multi-tenant environments like that. For OWA, you simply should have them go to https://mail.your-hoster-domain.com/owa. For autodiscover redirect to function you should have an autodiscover.client-domain.com that is a CNAME which points to something like redirect.your-hoster-domain.com. The redirect server only accepts port 80 (not 443) and has something like IIS Redirection which redirects back to https://mail.your-hoster-domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml

OK so replace mail.your-hoster-domain.com/owa with domain1.com/owa and autodiscover.client-domain.com with domain2.com in my example and i have working perfectly exactly what you said above

I know the redirect only accepts port 80 as i have it working perfectly for setting up a new outlook client with domain2.com as i mentioned above.

My question is how do i setup a mobile device for a user on a domain which is being redirected to  https://mail.your-hoster-domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml?
