Update users in Cloudpanel

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know how to force cloudpanel to update the list of users when they are renamed in AD?

Some mailboxes have been renamed and the changes are not reflected in CloudPanel.

There isn’t a two-way sync so you have to manually change them in the database. You can use SQL Management Studio to look at the tables.

Would it be easier to remove the user from the database only, then import the user using “/CloudPanel/company/{CompanyCode}/imports/users”?

What did you rename? Did you rename the UserPrincipalName?

If you did then yes I would just delete the users from the database and import them again…. BUT! It goes by the ObjectGuid of the user and I assume you didn’t change that? If not then deleting the user in CloudPanel will most likely delete the renamed user.
