Good day to all!

I inherited a system and I’m not familiar with the back end , I had to reboot the server and now I’m getting “service unavailable” on the web page, and I got this error from the server logs:

———

The identity of application pool CloudPanel is invalid. The user name or password that is specified for the identity may be incorrect, or the user may not have batch logon rights. If the identity is not corrected, the application pool will be disabled when the application pool receives its first request.  If batch logon rights are causing the problem, the identity in the IIS configuration store must be changed after rights have been granted before Windows Process Activation Service (WAS) can retry the logon. If the identity remains invalid after the first request for the application pool is processed, the application pool will be disabled. The data field contains the error number.

——-

Could you please assist I need the system back asap!

Thanks!!

It is saying that the username and password on the IIS application pool is wrong. Please open IIS, go to application pools, find the one CloudPanel is using (Usually named CloudPanel), then edit the username and password on it.

After you do that, you may need to update the username and password in CloudPanel. On the server CloudPanel is installed on (the same IIS server), browse to https://localhost/cloudpanel/admin/setup and set the username & password.

That should get you going.
