I?m testing mass email to send status updates to customers.
We have a fake company with a working email domain within the Exchange enviroment. When I send an email to this company from the mass email function I get a succes message: Successfully sent message

But the message is never received. Is there some kind of logging to find the issue?

I?ve configured the Notification settings correctly under the admin settings / notification tab. In the log files on the SMTP server there is no record of any email from the mass email feature.

We have the same issue, its not sending mass emails and we can’t find anything in the CloudPanel logs..

The email function uses your own mail server to send the messages (the mail server you specify on the settings page for notifications). Do you see anything on your mail server? Also when sending a mass email who are you sending it too? Company Admins, Reseller Admins, specific companies?

Hi jacob,

thx for your answer.
I dont see anything in the mailserver logs (transport logs), it looks that it can’t connect to exchange server.. The mailserver is on the same server as the CloudPanel. I am using 127.0.0.1 as mailserver (notification settings), also tried with internal name/ip, localhost and external name/ip, but no change.
I am sending mass email to my own company (mail enabled).

But telnet to localhost 25 is working and I can send mail from the same machine..

Sorry but I think this is a bug, because the outlook and gmail smtp is also not working.

I’m going to mark this as solved since I haven’t heard back

There is a log file in the log folder for CloudPanel. Now when you send an email the company has to have mail enabled users. If there isn’t any mail enabled users then it doesn’t have any emails to send.

Also you can look at your message tracking logs to see if anything was sent

The company has email enabled users. In the message tracking logs of the SMTP server, there are no messages..

You will need to reproduce the issue and send us the logs coated in the logs folder to support@knowmoreit.com
