[Solved] Customise SAMID

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for the response to my question the other day. I have since upgraded to CloudPanel (v3.1.1001). I have created a test company within our CloudPanel and manually entered the Company Code. This however, has not changed our SAMID as we have been asking for.

We require the customer code to be the username?prefix on our NetBIOS login, also known as the SAMID. For example: the UPN for a company account will be jsmith@contoso.com and the SAMID will be CONTOSOctsojsmith. The CTSO being the company code.

I’m sorry I misunderstood you. Currently there is no way to change the SAMID.. I was thinking the company code that needed to be customized.

I will look at adding a way to customize the SamAccountName in a later version. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
