Hi,

i try to udate from 3.0.899 to 3.0.906.
The Installer stops with an ODBC connection timeout error.

For Authentication, i used SQL-Authentication instead of Windows-Auth.

Any suggestion?

If its giving an error then something isn’t configured right on the SQL side. Open SQL Management studio and try with that using SQL Auth. Chances are TCP/IP isn’t enabled or you haven’t enabled SQL authentication

Hi,

thankns for the answer.

The Problem was, the installer has got a field for (SQL): “Serverinstance”. I had to put in only “(local)”, without the Instance. After that it worked like it should.
