Hi,

We’re very interested in trying your product and I have read through your KB a bit but found nothing on multi-DAG environments and also what might be considered best practice in terms of running CloudPanel directly on an Exchange server, or in its own domain-joined server in the cluster. Our setup basically consists of DC1, DC2, Exchange1, Exchange2 (in a DAG with round-robin DNS for some redundancy). Should we install CloudPanel in a brand new VM on the same domain? We’re running Exchange 2016 on top of Server 2012 R2 on all 4 VMs. Thanks

I typically stay away from installing extra products on Exchange or DC so personally I would put it on its own server, but we have many people that have it isntalled on a DC or the Exchange server. It does have to be domain joined and with the design you are talking about I would stay with one DAG.

Thanks for the quick reply! I do just have one DAG and that’s between Exchange1 and Exchange2. Do you offer contract services for helping us with this deployment and making our Exchange setup the best it can be? I ask because we also have a few outstanding issues such as the fact we’re still doing SSL SANs every time we add a tenant and then we’re having issues with tenants seeing other tenants in our GALs – all despite the fact we’re running custom PowerShell scripts for onboarding. We really need to bring an exchange expert to really look at things and that could be you..
