Branding and Sophos UTM

Hello everybody,

we noticed, the branding feature wont apply, if we call the panel-page from external. We are using an Sophos UTM appliance for protecting our webservers. If we call the page with the hostname, where CloudPanel is installed on, branding works fine. Is there a way to get this feature running, even using the firewall appliance?

Solved this issue.

If anyone may have the same problem, activate “pass header” for your virtual webserver.

Thank you for letting us know what it was! CloudPanel does need to be able to see the correct FQDN in the URL because that is how the branding matches. We didn’t think about devices masking the FQDN when we developed it.
