we have 2 exch 13 servers in a DAG. the issue is that email to other hosted domains is NOT leaving exchange.
there are 2 send connectors – outboundmail and cloudpaneltransportagent
both send connectors route mail through a smarthost.
outboundmail ?uses * address space
cloudpaneltransportagent uses nexthopdomain.com
contents of transportagent.dll.config are:

what else do we need to check?
The transport agent should be enabled on both of your servers. You can turn DEBUG to True and see it in the event viewer on each server. Also the other hosted domains must have an Accepted Domain because that is what it compares to.
How are you checking if they are leaving Exchange or not?

the messages are bouncing back because the user’s email is different on our system
i will turn debug on
the domain is set to “Authoritative” ?- does that matter?
all?domains are set to “Authoritative”
checked Cloudpanel transport agent logs (eventvwr) as well as application and system on both servers – there is no record of the email i tried to send out.
i ran get-messagetrackinglog and see the attached.

That recipient domain is in your Exchange as an accepted domain? Can you send the output of the transport agent (Get-TransportAgent) on both servers?

Also please submit the conf files from each server for the transport agent.
After you changed DEBUG to True in the configuration file on all your servers did you restart the transport agent services on all servers?
