Reset Domain Admin Password / CloudPanel Login Issue
I dismissed an engineer from my team and I changed the password for the admin account used to log into? cloudpanel.
I reset the password in the IIS8 App Pool identity and the CloudPanel schedule service.? I am not able to log in to CloudPanel via http://server/cloudpanel:? “<span class=”text-danger”>Error: The user name or password is incorrect. </span>”
I tried the new password and the old password and neither one of them works.
Any advice?

You need to login to /admin/settings and change the password you have set there as well.

I’m sorry I didn’t mean login to. You can access the /admin/settings page from the server CloudPanel is installed on and it won’t ask you for credentials.
So you changed your application pool and now you need to change what is configured in the settings.xml which you do that by going to /CloudPanel/admin/settings from the same server that cloudpanel is on. If you are using host headers you may have some issues because it is checking that you are coming from localhost
http://localhost/cloudpanel/admin/settings
