[Solved] rebuild/resynch cloudpanel database
I’ve noticed that some items that are still in cloudpanel no longer exist in the exchange environment / Active Directory.
Is there a way to rebuild/resynchronise the database to get it back up to date.
I’m aware that we ALWAYS have to use the cloudpanel to make changes to the exchange environment, so that’s why I’m astonished by this situation….
Which items seem to be missing? Is it users or distribution groups? They most likely will need to be removed manually from the database or you can try to remove them from CloudPanel to see if it will throw an error or not. Sounds like someone removed them from Active Directory or ECP.
Thank you. That solved my issue.
it’s actually shared mailbox that still appear in the Cloudpanel but do no longer exist in the Active Directory
when i try to delete them in cloudpanel i get:
The operation couldn’t be performed because object ‘4382e715-c66a-41dd-b2e7-bf5620a25ae6’ couldn’t be found on ‘AD01’
and
The operation couldn’t be performed because object ‘af01269a-0a0a-4989-ac5e-27d304197021’ couldn’t be found on ‘AD01’.
How do i delete them from the cloudpanel database???
You would need to open the database using SQL Management Studio and just manually delete the row under exch_ResourceMailboxes table.
