We would like to assign the company code as a prefix to every user’s SAMID within Cloudpanel. For example: The customer code is [4WAY]. I would like to click New user and generate a SAMID of “4WAY” without having to access Active Directory and change this. If this is possible may you provide us with instructions please?

What version are you on? The latest two or three versions have a input box that you can type whatever you want for the company code (or leave it blank for auto generated)

Thanks for the speedy reply. How do I check my Cloudpanel version? Then I can figure out if I am behind or not.

You look at the version column in Programs and Features (Add/Remove Programs). Also you can’t customize the SAMID like you want…. I was thinking that you were talking about the company code. We will look at adding this feature.
Currently there is no way to customize the SamAccountName. You are able to customize the CompanyCode. We will look at adding this feature in the future.
