Enable mail for domain Error 500
<span class=”text-danger” style=”font-size: 4em;”>500 Error</span>
<p class=”text-center”>An internal server error occurred.</p>
Is it already marked as an accepted domain in CloudPanel?
So in CloudPanel can you set it back to regular domain and then back to Authoritative? I’m not sure how they got out of sync…. that domain wasn’t manually removed via EAC was it?
Ah sorry. my misstake. it is marked as regular and newly made. no import. cant change to anything. Get 550 error message saying domain dont exist on ad server but its there
To use that domain for Exchange you have to mark it as Authoritative. Are you getting the error when you try to set it as Authoritative? The error message makes it sound like you are trying to use that domain (which shouldn’t even be in the drop down list for mailboxes) when its not enabled for Exchange.
Can you post some screenshots or email them to support@knowmoreit.com?
Send you some screenshoots and a cutout from log file
Which version are you on?
Also I think the problem is because the DB is out of sync with Exchange. Can you do me a favor and enable that domain in Exchange manually, then go to CloudPanel and set it as regular domain (then save), then change it back to Authoritative with CloudPanel.
New error enabling mail for user
Can you check SQL that you have the column “TaskType” with data type “int” on the “DelayedUsersTasks” table? Also email me the log files please.
The issue actually turned out to be because Public Folders were enabled in the settings but were not using public folders. In the latest version you have to make sure public folders are disabled if not using them because it will look for the root public folder mailbox when creating users.
