ECP on new users
Hi!
I habe a problem with a users created with cloudpanel. Tris users cant access to ECP for change the password or customize our account.
Users created directly from exchange admin ECP has no problem.
Ana ideas?
It is most likely because you don’t have ECP enabled on the mailbox plan which results in the user not having ECP enabled. That is needed to perform password changes.
Changing the plan won’t propagate to existing users so you will have to do that manually.
Yes, i didnt enable ECP but today i enable it on a plan but the changes dont affect.
any ideas to enable it manually?
Yes you modify the mailbox the normal way in Exchange using EAC and click the link to enable the mailbox for ECP. Or if you are good with powershell you run the following:
Get-Mailbox -Identity <identity> | Set-CASMailbox -ECPEnabled $true
