Got the SRV autodiscover redirect working so that autodiscover at MS Autodiscover test site passes.? Autodiscover works for setting up Outlook 2013 for users of the hostdomain.com but throws an error for users of hosteddomains.com after it prompts for credentials and they are input.

“The action cannot be completed. The name cannot be matched to a name in the address list.”

User can be setup manually in Outlook (thanks Jacob!).

Most suggestions point at user being hidden from GAL but that is not the case.

Any suggestions?

The issue turned out to be cached credentials in Windows Credential Manager. I’ve seen this (and don’t know why it happens) that Outlook gives this “bogus” message.

Going into Credential Manager and clearing out all credentials for that Outlook Profile and relating to that server resolved the issue and autodiscover worked properly!
