Sent Items shared users mailbox

Hi ?all,

I am facing an issue wich I seem not to be able to fix. For this example I will use 2 users userA and userB.
Both users are granted full acces and sent ass rights to each others mailbox. Both Mailboxes are auto-added nicely into outlook.

now userB sends an email from userA’s email address. The sent mail got saved in userB his sent items folder. Not in userB his sent items folder.

How can I fix this?

situation used:
exchange 2013 cu14
windows 2012 r2
outlook 2013 / 2016

tried registry edit for outlook sentitemsdelegates = 1
does not seem to work.?

(possibly not related to cloudpanel, but maybe you guys know it?)

please help

Unfortunately I believe that is how Outlook works and you can’t fix that. Another option would be using OWA to do it and open another users mailbox in OWA.

I believe I said thing wrong in the first post.

I figured that is what you meant but i’m pretty sure that is just how Outlook works and you won’t really be able to change that. It is going to save it in the connected default profile
