[Solved] Mailbox plans
We would like to set mailbox plans on Company level instead of creating a new plan for each customer and there choices.
We noticed the need for this change when we opened up for customers to handle there settings them selfs. We have customers who pay monthly and some by year. Now they see every plan we have and sometimes choose the wrong one depending on the agreement.
So… Optimal would be…
We create a bunch of plans (already done) and when we set up customer we tick boxes for the plans we want the customer to see.
As per our understanding now we need to set up plans per customer wich means we are going to end up with thousand of plans.
Setting up mailbox plans per company is not recommended as a hoster which is why they are at the global level. Hosters in general should have generic plans. You can create plans and limit it to specific customers if you want by setting the company on the mailbox plan section. But again, I would advise creating customized plans like that for every company because you will most likely have a lot of overlap and a management headache with that many. For example in our environment we offer four plans (1GB, 10GB, 25GB, 50GB) and if a customer wants something like OWA disabled, we create a plan and limit it to that customer only using the company dropdown box on the mailbox plan.
ok, i get it.
We have named the plans monthly, yearly etc… if we drop that it should work.
Ok, back to the drawing board 🙂
