I’m trying to get a domain removed from our organization so it can be used in another Microsoft365 tenant. The environment where the domain is currently in use is hybrid Exchange 2019 with AD Sync connector to Azure Entra ID.
If I change the domain type in CloudPanel (Under ‘Company -> Domains’) from “authoritative” to “Regular” will that remove it from Exchange and Azure?
If not, how can I get the domain out of Azure so it can be used in another tenant?

If you change the domain type, it will change it on Exchange only. Basically it will remove it from Accepted Domains.
