I did a fresh inastall verified the app pool is running and the path is correct I get internal server error 500 when I go to
http://localhostCloudPanel/admin/settings

Did you install CloudPanel in its own website?
Like do you see a CloudPanel website and a virtual directory CloudPanel under it? If it is pointed to the same place then don’t go to /CloudPanel. Just go to http://localhost/admin/settings

Thanks the url worked. The document said to use the other though

Yeah normally just uses the Default Web Site and it will create a virtual directory. I haven’t figured out how to tell it NOT to create a virtual directory if it is creating a new website.
