HTTP 403 Forbidden
I installed CloudPanel on a Windows server 2012 R2 and SQL server 2014 Express.
The same server is the Exchange server.
After the installation I cannot Configure CloudPanel Settings.
I get the error HTTP 403 Forbidden.
I’ve seen another topic with the same subject but reinstalling CloudPanel did not work for me.
Can you please help me?
You have to configure the settings using http://localhost/CloudPanel/admin/settings
If you are using host headers this can cause a problem accessing the URL. Are you using host headers?
I am using the link you suggested but have no result.
No, I am not using host headers.
Did you install it to a new website or the default website? Send me a picture of IIS
I installed it in the Default site of Exchange
You connect with Teamviewer if you want.

Won’t connect. Have you simply tried https://localhost/CloudPanel/admin/settings?
Yes, I did.
Sorry for the Teamviewer image.
Please delete it if you can.
Are you sure the AppPool for CloudPanel is running under a domain administrator?
Yes, I followed exactly your instructions.
Here is a screenshop of the Application Pools

I honestly cannot tell you from here without looking into your system. The 403 error is usually from requiring SSL on the website or maybe IIS_IUSRS group isn’t on the folder.
Its an IIS thing that is blocking it though.
These are the permissions on CloudPanel

anything missing like IIS_IUSR compared to other IIS directories?
IIS_IUSRS exists only on the Permissions for the Default Web Site. Nowhere else.
Nevertheless, I added IIS_IUSRS with the same permissions to CloudPanel (and replaced all child object also) but had no effect.
I will try to set debug on the site so I have a better reason for the problem.
I also usually recommend not installing CloudPanel on Exchange. It works fine but its normally best practice to have it on a separate server.
Can I install CloudPanel on the Domain Controller?
