Have new installation but unable to create Exchange Distribution Groups

On a new installation with version 3.2.335.0.  I am trying to create a Distribution Group, but I am unable to enter an email address as the domains dropdown says –Select Domain–, but there are no domains to select.

The domains are are created, three in total, and I can create Exchange Users and enter their email addresses correctly.

Did I miss a step?

You need to enable the domain as an accepted domain in CloudPanel (which enables it as an accepted domain in Exchange). Change it to Authoritative. You user’s should of failed as well so I would be suprised if their email addresses are legit. I assume you entered the full email like Mark@domain.com in that field when you should of just entered Mark and selected the @domain.com from the dropdown list.

Thanks for that, changing the all three domains to authoritative did the trick.  With regards to the users, no, I did not need to type the name and address as you described, but I did have to save the AD User first, then enable the Mailbox, and I could select the domain.  If I tried to configure email settings before saving it did not work.

I do have another issue since changing all the domains to authoritative, when creating the groups, and I try to enter the email aliases, it accepts one domain, but not the other.  Says not valid here.  However, if I save the domain, then select Edit, I can use that domain.  Very odd.

If it is saying that it is invalid then that domain must not be an accepted domain for that company or you have a space at the end of it. Are you just entering something like Mark or are you entering Mark@domain.com.

Also, I just tested creating a user and enabling a mailbox at the same time and it worked fine. Are you checking the “Enable Mailbox” checkbox on the last page where you enter the email information?
