Domain Overview / SPLA Report
Hello
We need an overview of all domains that we have in Cloudpanel with all customers. Is there a report which has this information in it? Or where can we see that?
Second thing ist, when we want to create the SPLA report, we get an empty csv, and as a pdf an error 500.
Version: 3.2.1022.0
Thanks!
Best regards
Patrick
Do all of the reports give you errors? The PDF uses Report Viewer Runtime and that will have to be installed on the server (you should see it in Programs & Features because the CloudPanel installer should install that for you).
The SPLA report requires the CloudPanel Service to be running because it retrieves the historical data on intervals to compare it to the previous month. Do you have the service installed and running? The dashboard should alert super admins that login if it isn’t running.
All PDF reports give an error, but there is no Report Viewer Runtime installed. Is there a way to install this manually?
CSV are working, like the CloudPanel MailboxPlan Overview or the details user reports. The SPLA is empty. The service is installed on the server (cloudpanel has its own server, its not direclty on exchange) and running. The executive-summary.csv also gives an error 500.
And where can we see all domains that are used in any of the customers in cloudpanel?
Hello, please install the report viewer runtime from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=45496 and install on the CloudPanel server.
Also, please gather the logs from c:\Program Files (x86)\Know More IT\CloudPanel\logs after you try to generate a report and email them to support@knowmoreit.io.
There is no direct report that lists all of the domains I’m afraid. You could get the list of Accepted Domains from your Exchange which will give you a list of domains that are enabled for Exchange, but it would require a SQL query from the CloudPanel db on table cp_domains to see all the domains in the system.
When I try to install the Reporter, it says: System requirements: Missing System CLR Type for SQL Server 2014 (We have an SQL Server 2017 running)
Do I need to install something else first?
Yes. If your system doesn’t have that then you will need to install what it needs. If it is prompting for you CLR types, you can probably get that from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=100451
For some reason I am thinking that may also have a prerequisite, but you will need to see if it prompts you for it.
Normally the CloudPanel installer will prompt to install the CLR types. Was this moved from another server?
Installed them as well, but it still shows the same message: Missing System CLR Type for SQL Server 2014 when I try to install the reporter. (I did a reboot)
No this server was never moved, but we did an upgrade from version 3.2.0330 to CloudPanel 3.2.1022 last year, so if that was installed in some version in between, we maybed missed it.
I think something else is going on. Can you email the CloudPanel logs to support@knowmoreit.io?
Also, if you look here in this directory, you should see Microsoft.ReportViewer.* dll files. Can you confirm that?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Know More IT\CloudPanel\bin
Just sent you the logfile. And yes in the Bin directory I see the dlls.
