Hi is it possible to customise the way the SAMID and Alias are named? we have already modified CP to use a 4 digit customer code instead of a 3 digit code and we would like our users SAMID and alias to be prefixed by the 4 digit code? They will login as the UPN which will remain user@customer.com

There are only two ways it can be customized right now and not with what you are looking for. Have to put in a feature request for this.

We need some way of making the usernames unique within each tenant, eventually we will end up in a situation where a lot of tenants have people with the same names as other tenants.
It already handles that for you if you are using the generated company codes. It will append numbers to the end if there are any duplicates.
