[Solved] Cloud Panel Service
CloudPanel Service has not checked in
- It appears the CloudPanel service has not checked in for over 24 hours. Please make sure that the CloudPanel service is running as it is a vital service.
I have seen some other forums that say the cloudpanel schedule service needs to be running. i do not have a cloud panel schedule service. i try to install it and the install fails as well. needless to say i dont have any report gathering of mailbox sizes, emails, etc due to this and i am sure other issues i am not aware of. any help thanks.
Thanks, Lee
i have made sure the user credentials being provided have log on as a service both on local group policy and domain group policy. i have ran gpupdate, logged off and back on, and restarted server. installer goes as far as saying could not start verify you have privilege’s
The user installing the service must have access to SQL as well as the user that will run the service. When the installer gets stuck in that position try to open services.msc and you will see CloudPanel Service listed there. Open up the service and re-enter the username/password and save. See if you can start the service and then click Retry on the installer.
If that does not work there should be a log file where the installer is installed to and also some logs in the event viewer if you could post those.
i have tried that already as well. the log says login failed but i know credentials are correct and verified the user has access to sql and can get in to sql mgmt studio with those credentials as well. now cloudpanel itself doesnt even work. I have 210 accounts to add to this and nothing is even working. cloudpanel itself doesnt even work any more. route by sender isnt working any more. nothing from any of these products are working.

It says in the logs that the user CPH\cphdcmg does not have access to the SQL database. You most likely installed the service as a different user and entered the CPH\cphdcmg as credentials. The problem is your user had access (because it checks) but the user CPH\cphdcmg does not have access. You need to open SQL Management Studio and grant the user CPH\cphdcmg access (sysadmin) to the SQL server
Did you ever get this resolved? I never heard anything back from my last response:
