We have several customers that have several domains and make extensive use of distribution groups. Most of these groups require multiple email addresses. It appears that there is currently no method to add aliases on a distribution group. If I add the aliases through ECP is this going to cause issues down the track if CloudPanel is upgraded to support the addition of aliases?
Currently there is no way to add aliases with CloudPanel. Adding them in ECP will cause no issues and you will still be able to update the group in CloudPanel because it will only set the PrimarySmtpAddress attribute.
Future versions won’t be an issue because they will pull straight from Exchange.
