The issue was resolved by adding the TaskType column to the database.

How did you upgrade? Also did you upgrade from version 3.0 to 3.1.x? You have to install 3.1 RC first and then upgrade to the latest 3.1.x. Also after installing 3.1 RC you need to test logging in.
